Delete your account

You can permanently delete your GI Charger account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- By email — send a request to [email protected] from any address, including your registered phone number. We will verify the request with an OTP to that number and delete the account within 7 days.
- By phone — call +977-9841405032 (8 AM – 8 PM) and ask for account deletion; the same OTP verification applies.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, address) and phone number.
- Your saved preferences and notification settings.
- Your wallet — any remaining balance is refunded to your original payment method before deletion if you request it (see the Refund Policy). Unclaimed balances are held for 90 days, then forfeited.
What we must keep
Records of payments and charging sessions are retained, without your profile attached, for the period required by Nepali tax and financial laws. They are no longer linked to an active account and are not used for anything except legal compliance.
Before you go
If something in the app isn't working for you, we'd genuinely like to fix it — write to us first. Otherwise, once deletion completes you'll receive a confirmation SMS, and your phone number can be used to register a fresh account later.
